Wanna Portrait has grabbed headlines as social media users flood news feeds with their AI-generated self-portraits. Here’s how you can get personalized pictures from Wanna Portrait, too.

How to Get Your Wanna Portrait

To get your own Vana pictures, you need to follow several steps which we have divided into two sections: Step 1 and Step 2. This is because of the waiting period between submitting and getting access to your gallery.

When the next page loads, a pop-up will immediately appear in the center of the screen where Vana shows tips for getting a great portrait. Be sure to read and observe before clicking the x in the upper right corner to minimize the pop-up.

Click + Add 8 Images, and make sure you add at least eight photos, although you can add more. If you added the wrong image, you can click Remove and choose another image. Once your eight images are added, the function will turn into a nice looking one.

Once you complete these steps, you will receive an email from Wana to confirm that the submission was successful. After a waiting period of a few days to a few weeks, you will receive another email letting you know that your gallery is available for viewing.

To get good results with the Vana, consider leveling up your portrait photography.

Turn your portraits into AI art with Vana

Before photography was invented, pictures had to be painted by an artist, and the process could take months or even years. But with advances in AI and creative technology, we can now turn our lives into works of art almost instantly.

It can take artistic geniuses hours to complete their masterpieces, but now you can create one in minutes. Thanks to some photo-to-painting apps, you can use your smartphone to turn any selfie or photo into an instant painting.

Stunning filters will allow you to choose between a variety of painting styles. Soon, you’ll be impressing all your friends with your beautiful and creative pieces—whether you use them for profile pictures or to hang wall prints.

Prisma kicked off the art-style filter craze because it’s remarkably easy to use and does something that no other app on this list does.

With Prisma, once you select a photo and a filter, it will apply the filter instantly and show you a preview of your final image. You can then slide your finger left or right to represent the intensity of the filter from 0 to 100 percent—this intensity option is only available on iOS at the time of writing. There’s also an option to apply the filter to the background or subject only.

You’ll find the usual image editing options like exposure, contrast, saturation, and more.

There are already tons of great filters in the free version. If you want to unlock over 500 filters and effects, you’ll need to subscribe to the Premium plan for $7.99/month (or $39.99/year if you pay once).

If you want to do more than just turn a photo into a painting, PicsArt is a great option. The app works as a full photo editing service complete with selfie and video editing capabilities, collage layouts, and a selection of beautifying tools and filters.

Within these filters, you’ll find a few different options that will allow you to completely transform your chosen photo into an artist’s painting. You can edit photos to near perfection and change filters to create digital art in minutes.

PicsArt also has a social network of sorts in the app, providing daily inspirational content from other users. However, it doesn’t compete with online resources dedicated to finding digital art inspiration.
